YOUR CURRENT FOCUS
Start with the facts
Get your reports from the official source, confirm every account belongs to you, and make a list of balances, limits, dates, and negative items. Checking your own report does not create a hard inquiry.
1Review all three credit reports
2Mark inaccurate or unfamiliar information
3Record each balance, limit, due date, and status
CREDIT FOUNDATIONS
Six areas to manage consistently
No single tactic fixes every file. The goal is accurate information, reliable payments, manageable balances, and documented progress.
Payment history
Pay every account by its due date. If an account is already late, contact the creditor and document the available resolution options.
Revolving utilization
Utilization compares card balances with credit limits. Lower balances can strengthen the picture, but never miss essentials just to chase a number.
Report accuracy
Dispute only information you genuinely believe is inaccurate. Keep copies of reports, letters, evidence, and results.
Credit applications
Space applications intentionally. Multiple recent hard inquiries can make a borrower appear to be seeking credit urgently.
Identity and privacy
Never give a credit-repair company your bank password or identity-verification code. Freeze reports when identity theft is suspected.
Documentation
Keep a monthly record of scores, balances, disputes, payments, and lender-ready business documents so progress can be verified.
NEXT STEP
Connect your personal credit picture to your business funding plan.
The GET R$CH assessment reviews credit ranges, business foundation, cash flow, and funding purpose without pulling a credit report.
